AMERICAN RUNNERS
VISIT TO AUSTRALIA

SYDNEY, This Day.
The "Daily Telegraph" says that the American runners Ralph Metcalfe and Glenn Cunningham, at the conclusion of the Olympic Games will turn professional and visit" Australia under the direction of a Melbourne company. Cunningham will be matched against Australia's best distance runners" arid the New Zealander Gordon Bayne.
Mr. Bert Potts, sports promoter, who is on his way to visit his home in Melbourne after spending several years' in America, told "a "Post" reporter yesterday that it was expected that Jesse Owens would visit Australia as a professional after the Olympic Games.
