FAST MOVING
J. Best, the Marlborough and New Zealand Rugby forward, had to move very speedily after assisting Marlborough in their successful effort to win the Seddon Shield last Saturday. From Westport, where the match was played', he had to go back to Blenheim and then get to Hamilton (to which town he has been transferred) by Monday morning. He had to wait in Westport until after the McCready-Woods wrestling bout on Saturday night, and he travelled with the two wrestlers by car to Blenheim, where he arrived at 10.45 a.m. on Sunday. Early on Sunday afternoon he left by aeroplane for Falmerston North to connect there with the Limited express which would land him in Hamilton in time for him to be at work on Monday morning.
