BOESCH BEATS KENT

CHRISTCHURCH, July 15.
In eight rounds of hard wrestling almost completely devoid' of showmanship, Boesch beat Kent by the only fall of the bout tonight. The pace was not very fast at any stage, but both men showed versatility. Boesch secured his fall in the sixth round with a body press after three droplocks. Kent scored a little with flying tackles. Two Indian deathlocks which he applied failed, to gain him submission falls, Boesch escaping each time.
