The wedding took place recently at St. Mary of the Aagels Church, Wellington, of Mary Marguerite, only daughter of Mr. and Mrs. J. Crowley, Thompson Street, and Harry Charles, elder son of Mr. and Mrs. C. Tester, Hataitai.

The bride, who was escorted by her j ( father, wore a frock of satin charmeuse ] cut on fitting lines with a cowled neckline, fastened with a spray of orange ' blossoms, and a full sweeping train. ' Her beautiful embroidered veil was ' mounted to a cap with a coronet of orange blossoms and formed a second ' train. She carried a bouquet of hot- : house roses, freesias, and maidenhair • fern.. The two bridesmaids, Dolores I Milesi and Maureen Morris (cousin of the bridegroom), wore pink shot taffeta picture frocks fashioned with necklines trimmed with silver lame flowers, and huge puffed sleeves shirred Jxom the shoulders. They wore pink caps trimmed with silver flowers and eyeveils of silver stiffened net. Their bouquets were of carnations, freesias, and fern. ,lune King was flower-girl in a frock of blue shot taffeta frilled at the' hemline and finished at the waist with a large pink ruched sash. The sleeves were puffed. She wore a pink Dolly Yarden hat trimmed with pink and blue flowers. The best man was Mr. Jack Cran, and the groomsman Mr. Jack Crowley (brother of the bride). A reception was held at the Wellington Howing Club Hall. .Mrs. Crowley received her guests; wearing a gown of black velvet, a black toque with an eyeveil, and black accessories. She carried a scarlet posy. Mrs. H. Tester assisted Mrs. Crowley, wearing a brown coat, and hat and accessories to match. She carried a posy of chrysanthemums and autumn foliage. Among the guests were Miss Molly Olsen ■ (Eketahuna), Mr. Stephen Crowley (the bride's brother, who flew from Christchurch -for the wedding), and Major Glanville (Eltham). Mr. and Mrs; Harry Tester left for the north, the bride wearing a navy . pilot-cloth suit, navy toque, and eyeveil and accessories.
