Subscription lists for the "Argus" and "The Australasian," Ltd., closed yesterday, after being open, for only one and a half hours.
The issue was heavily oversubscribed. In the Stock Exchange vestibule yesterday there were unofficial dealings in the preference shares at 235. and the market closed with buyers 22s 6ti and sellers 235.
