BUYERS HOLD OFFE

The butter market is very firm, but buyers are not willing to operate on present prices. New Zealand, 116s to 117s per cwt; Danish, 125s to 127s per cwt.

The cheese market continues firm with quotations for New Zealand as follows:—White, 62s to 62s 6d per cwtcoloured, 61s 6d to 625.
