REAL OCCUPATION

GERMANY IN RHINELAND

STRONGER GARRISONS

REPORTED MOVE

United Press Association—By Electric Tele- I graph—Copyright. LONDON, July 14. I The "Daily Herald's" diplomatic correspondent says that, according to reports reaching London, Herr Hitler has decided to turn the "'token" occupation of the Rhineland into a real occupation by bringing the German garrisons to the same strength as the garrisons on the French side of the frontier, simultaneously expediting the fortification of the Rhineland.

Germany denies that she is increasing the Rhineland garrisons, and declares that she is remaining faithful to her undertaking to do nothing until August 1.
