The candidates contesting me seats are as follows:— Wellington Urban Area.—Mr A C Blake (sitting member), Mr AH Carman, Mr. C. H. W. Nicholls (sitting member). Two required. Hutt-Horowhenua Hural Area.—Mr S. H. D. Peryman,' Mr. G. M. Henderson, Mr. F. C. Meyer (sitting member) One vacancy.
Marlborough Rural Area.—Ordinary vacancy: Mr. W. D. Pike (sitting member). Mr. C. E. Townshend. Extraordinary vacancy, caused by the resignation of Mr. W. E. Gascoigne on account of ill health—Mr. H. Duckworth Mr. T. C. Prichard. and Mr. B. E. Watson. Wairarapa Rural Area.—Mr. J F Brophy, Mr. A. Donald (sitting member). One required. Mr. J. Stonehouse (sitting member) has been returned .unopposed for the Hutt-Petone urban area, and likewise Mr. W. H. Jackson (sitting member) for the Masterton urban area.
