The Australian Rugby Union team to tour New Zealand is as follows, where not otherwise indicated players being from New South Wales:— FULL-BACK: X..P. Storey. WING-THREE-QUARTERS: A.. D. McLean (Queensland), J. D. Kelaher, R. W..Dorr.(Victoria). CENTRE-THREE-jQUARTERS: W. McLaughlin, E. S. Hayes (Queensland), R. Rankin, B. C. Egan. , FIVE-EIGHTHS: L. S. Lewis (Queensland), J. D. Hammon (Victoria). HALF-BACKS: K. Gibbons, V. S. Richards. FORWARDS: O. L. Bridle (Victoria), A. J. Hodgson, K. S. Windon, R. L. Kelly, T..P. Pauling, W. G. White, K.i M. Ramsay, F. E. j Hutchinson, J, H. Malone, R. J. Walden, W. H. Cerutti, A. H. Stone, E. T. Bonis (Queensland). ONLY SEVEN WARATAHS. As was to be expected in consequence of the victories of New South Wales in all the recent inter-State games the majority of players are froir that State. Queensland has four representatives and Victoria three. ' Hayes has been appointed captain and Walden vice-captain. Only seven of the Waratahs who toured South Africa in 1932' are included in the team. Five men, Egan, Pauling, Windon, Hutchinson, and Stone, played inter-State football for the first time this year. All are youthful players. Pauling is the son of the late T. G. Pauling, a former New Zealand footballer, who subsequently played in Australia.
The manager of the team will be Mr. JE. G. Shaw, who was in charge of the 1927-28 Waratahs when they toured Britain and who has also been offxeia.' representative of the New South Wales Rugby Union attached to all recent New Zealand teams which have visited Australia.
