A YOUNG GIANT
Robert Wadlow, a young American, who celebrated his eighteenth birthday recently, is 8 feet 4 inches tall, weighs 3901b, wears No. 39 shoes, costing £17 a pair, and tosses his 1501b father about easily. The doctors explain that it is due to Robert's pituitary gland. This' gland is known to control the growth of the body as well as possessing certain other important functions.
