O'Grady, and W G Scambary scoring 68. The W.A.F.T. Cup for July.was won by R. H. Hunt. BROOKLYN CLUB. The weekly attendance at the range 13 continning very satisfactory, and a keen contest for the second seroles is anticipated. Miss CocKTOtt, who has been shooting very consist«ntly all tlio season, registered her first possible Jast week. Tho club is to bo represented at the Wairarapa meeting by a, good number. Last yoar s champion, H. Dore, is attending to again contest it. The B team spent a very enjoyable evening l«flt weok when they visited the Petone ladies. They won a low-scoring match by a few points. "EVENING POST" CLUB. , Tho shooting has shown a decided improvement In all members, two possibles being scored by K. MacDowall and 09's by R. Gapes, J. Bradley,'A. Oakley, and J. Gapes. The winners of the June competitions were:—A grade: J. Gapes, 1; h. Houghton, 2. B grade: A. Jenkins, 1; W. Hanley; 2. The winners of the nuttonß last week were W. Stevens and I. Kondrlck. PUBLIC SERVICE CLUB. ■ Fluctuations of form duo In some casea to the absonco of opportunities for practlco have affected the i club's teams' results this season. F. Field continues to shoot with splendid accuracy both in practice and competitions. He put in two excellent targets for the Palma Cup. A. V. G. Wilson and J. H. Croxton are two other members who are putting up consistently good performances. W. A. Nicholson's return to something like his old form Is being maintained and A. R. Craig Is now heading in the same direction. His scoro of 100 off tho gun on Thursday evening was n very pleasing result Among the lady members Mrs. Cook and Mrs. Croxton are showing the best form at present, while Miss Ellison is advancing towards the standard of her previous performances. Among tho younger members Reid Is showing the greatest promise and in his first Inter-club match exhibited a good match temperament. during the week as follows:—A. R. Craig 100, V. SOUTH CLUB. Tho June competitions of the South Club resulted in Mr. T. McNab winning both the Congrave Jug and the Third Tuesday Cup with a ■core of 69 In each. Only one possible In ■competition shoots was obtained during tho month; It was obtained by R. Congreve. Mrs. Jfcßoble's special trophy was won by Mr. W. G. Scambary, of tho Aotea Club. The attendances of members are Tery good. W.W.M. CLUB. 'jlr. G. E. Rlmmlngton's trophy was won by F. Waterworth, with R. Pattison second and H: Roberts' third. Mr. R. Rawllng's trophy was won by F. Waterson, with L. Cathro second and R. Pattison third. F. Watcrworth Is snooting remarkably well at present and has established a good lead In the championship with a score of 973. R. Pattison with 901 13 running second and IS. J. Stewart with 956 third. Tn the B grade championship A. C. McCarter leads with a scoro of .918, A. H. Collins, 912, is second, and H. Tlngay, 893, third.
