ONE STRONG BODY
INDUSTRIAL LABOUR
A meeting of the Trades and Labour Council Federation is to be held on Thursday, when possibly a date will be suggested for a conference with the Alliance of Labour to discuss a scheme for the amalgamation of the two bodies so as to bring aiout one strong national industrial organisation, in New Zealand. It is thought that the conference may take place next month.
The objective is to form one strong body to speak nationally for all sections of the workers,." to protect their interests and to try, as far as possible, to avoid industrial trouble.
