THEFT OF "HANDLES"
Charged with the theft of four beer glasses, valued at 6s 8d from a Wellington hotel on Saturday afternoon Greig Barrington Brown, aged 23 of Australia, pleaded guilty before Mr W F. Stilwell in the Magistrate's Court today.
Senior-Sergeant J> Dempsey, who prosecuted, said that there had been a disturbance in the hotel and after it the defendant was found in possession of thesglasses. The defendant had been before the court before.
A fine of £2, in default 14 days' imprisonment, was imposed.
