AUSTRALIAN WHEAT
- HIGH PRICE REACHED (By Telegraph—Press Assn.—Copyright.) . SYDNEY, July 12. Under tne impetus of rising values and options from oversea* the Sydney wheat market today gained another Id a bushel, bringing the price to the highest level at Sydney since' 1930. Immediate prospects point to still further rises. Bagged wheat was offered at 4s a bushel and grain in the country at 3s s£d, equal to about 4s at Sydney. While drought is ruining the American crops reports slate that European crops are being spoilt by excess rain. The wheat price at Melbourne also reached Sydney's record figure.Experts state that the buoyant market is a.happy augury, for the coming season, when approximately 50,000 000 bushels of grain should be available for the market if the season continues to develop favourably. This would represent a net return of about £8,000 000 to New South Wales farmers
