WANAGANUI, This Day,
Arising from an accident to 'a motor-cyclist at Wangaehu on June 20, Donald Robert Falconer, aged- 25, fpr failing to report a motor accident to the police, was fined £15.
r Mr. J. H. Salmon, S.M., stated it was one of the more serious offences under the Motor' Vehicles Act, -and rightly so, for. it .was. obvious that if the police were notified after an accident an injured person might be attended.to and it might often result in. saving a life. It was a serious matter for anyone to fail to report an accident immediately. '-;.1-1
