General Chen Chi-tang, leader of tht Kwantung forces, has deserted witli the first army to the Central Governmerit, thus crippling the attack on th* latter.
General Hanmou, Chen 'Chi-tang's emissary to the Central Government, announces his own allegiance, to Nanking.
