ROME, July 10. An Italian column occupied Collubi, in the Harrar region. Mass submissions to the Italians are reported to continue throughout Abyssinia. ■The wireless stations of English, French, and other. legations at Addis Ababa' have been ordered to close, under a decree prohibiting private stations in Abyssinia.

The Italians massacred at Lakempti (not Lohemti, as previously cabled) were, killed in their sleep, 14 losing their lives. The first night passed without incident, but the raiders rushed isolated tents.on the second night. Local natives did not participate in the massacre. c

An official communique in Rome admits that- Italians were engaged in fierce'fighting on July 6 and 7 with Abyssinian bands which were attempting to loot two food trains on the Jibuti railway between Akaki arid Mojo. The communique states that detachments from the military garrison at Lasadda fought the raiders all night and inflicted heavy losses on the Abyssinians, who retreated precipitately. Several battalions have been dispatched to Mojo from Addis Ababa.

A cable from Rome published yesterday reported that 30 Italians were killed when occupants of aeroplanes were ambushed in the Lohemti district of Walegal, ,in the extreme west of Abyssinia.
