(Luke 23:39-43). (2) The parable of the rich man and Lazarus. (Luke 16:19-31). (3) Paul's "desire to depart and to be with Christ." (Phil. 1:21-23). (4). Paul's words—"Absent from the body . . . present with the Lord." (2 Cor. 5:1-10). (5) Christ's words—"ln My Father's House are many mansions." (John 14:1-3).
