KELBURN CLUB

The annual meeting of the Kelburn Bowling Club was held last night, a very satisfactory state of affairs being indicated by the report which has already been published.

Trophies for club competitions were presented by Mr. H. Miller as follows: —Champion singles (Atkins Cup), R. Smith: Junior singles (Martin Elgar Cup), F. H. Taylor; champion pairs, Messrs. J. R. Smith and AY. Hay-Mac-kenzie is); champion rinks (Tom Compton Cup). Messrs. 11. Arthur. .1. E. Widdop, W. Hay-Mackenzie, and B. A. Marris club pairs (Wilson Cup), Messrs. T. H. Barnes and- H. V. Croxton (s); club rinks (Lloyd Cup), Messrs. C. F. Smith, F. Wilton, A. Bell, and M. Routley (s); veterans' singles (T. Gray Trophy), L. Worrall; Dempster Cup. for highest aggregate score in games played by those not in champion rinks competition, R. H. Hooper; progressive pairs (Boxing Day), Messrs. A. Johnston (1), E. McAneny (s); (New Year's Day), F. Wilton (1) and J. R. Smith (s); (Easter Monday), W. Zander (1) and L. Strickland (s).

A cup was also presented to Messrs. W. Spence. A. Bell, L. C. Forgie, and J. R. Smith, who won the Returned Soldiers' tournament, and a presentation was made to Mr. P. H. Taylor for winning the billiards tournament. Officers for the ensuing y^ar were elected as follows:—President, Mr. H. Miller; vice-president. Mr. R. Caughle>'; hon. secretary, Mr. J. E.
