DECISION TO RAYNER

Forty-eight hours after makinn tnc featherweight limit for a title bout winch did not eventuate, Clarnc Knyner (Blenheim) tonight met Alf Reekie (Australia) in a lightweight contest. The match, scheduled for 1:> round:;, ended unsatisfactorily. In the third round Reekie claimed a foul. The referee, Mr. F. O'Neill, Greymouth, ordered him to continue and when he refused awarded Rayner the decision. A doctor who examined Reekie said be discovered no evidence ot a toiu.
