His Excellency the Governor-General has approved the following appointments, promotions, transfers, resignations and retirements of otncers ot the New Zealand Military Forces:— Captain C. S. J. Duff, R.N.Z.A., relinquishes the appointment of Assistant] Start Officer, Artillery (temp.), G.H.Q-j Wellington, and is appointed Officer j fo°^ a Ser F y OTt Sal "&£££§: Da m%£- of L^e^t d cXn M V D., relinquishes command of the Ist Battalion, the Wellington Regiment and is transferred to the Reserve ot Officers, Class I (b), R.D. &• ualea *%£•' KM. Stace, E.D., the Wellington Regiment, is appointed to command | he Ist Battalion. Dated June 1, 1936. The period of command of Major D. A. Carty, 15th Coast Battery. N.Z.A., is extended to May 14, Wot. Major C H. Beach, Corps of New Zealand Engineers, is appointed to command the ?nd Field Company. Dated May 12, I?"*. .
