SOUTH WELLINGTON SCHOOL
After a lapse of several years the South Wellington School Old Pupils' and Parents' Association has been revived, and at a meeting held recently in the school hall an energetic committee consisting of eighteen members was elected. At a subsequent meeting of the committee Mr..H. J. Burman was elected president and Mr. J. H Lamb honorary secretary and treasurer. The committee anticipate the ioining up with the association of a "large number of old pupils and parents, and intend holding a social evening at an early date to bring all old pupils and parents together. At a meeting of the committee several projects were discussed, and a ladies' committee was formed to take charge of various matters at social events. A member of the school committee was present, and it was decided to invite the school committee to nominate one of their members to attend committee meetings of the as- | sociation. Messrs. Deckston, E. Graham, and H. i Turner each donated articles for sale, and Mr. Wingate kindly offered tho I use of his house for a party at an early date. ' .
