GIFT TO LEVIN BOROUGH IBy Telegraph—Press Association.) LEVIN, This Day. Under the will of the late Mr. Henry Playford, a small farmer, the borough of Levin has been appointed sole beneficiary of one of his properties of 20 acres, with a Government valuation of £1210, and the revenue from another 17 acres, valued at £1515. The mortgage is £880. The gift is subject to the borough being prepared to take over and develop the 20 acres as a motorists' camping ground, using the revenue from the 17 acres for maintenance and improvements. A condition is that should the borough not accept within twelve months, and after accepting the gift should the property cease to be used for the purposes of a camp site, it shall be bequeathed to the Palmerston North Hospital Board.
