CARDINAL SOLD TO INDIA
Cardinal, the three-year-old Manfred colt who defeated Garrio and Hall Mark in the October Stakes at Flemington, and who later won the C. F. Orr Stakes at Williamstown, left Australia last week for India. He will do his future racing in Bombay and Calcutta. Cardinal was bred at Kismet Park, Sunbury, by Mr. Les Aldridge, but was sold as a yearling to Mr. A. G. Hunter. He in turn passed him on to R. J. Shaw, the Flemington trainer who raced the colt in Victoria.
