In connection with the Jackson Street widening scheme, the Petone Borough Council has completed negotiations with Mr. J. McArthur for alterations to his property, which is one of tho three buildings on the eastern side of the Post Office lhat come into the scheme. The building will not be set back, but alterations (o the front will bring it into tho new alignment of the street. Two of these three buildings have now come into the scheme.
