INCORRIGIBLE ROGUE
ESCAPE FROM PRISON YARD

WAIPUKURAU, This Day,
William Williams, alias Gordon Ernest Drury, who was sentenced to an aggregate of eighteen months' imprisonment at Waipawa on Saturday on three charges of using obscene language to young girls at Otane and who escaped yesterday from the yard of the Waipawa gaol, was recaptured last night and came before the Court again today. He was sentenced to six months' imprisonment, to be concurrent with the present term, on a charge of being an incorrigible rogue.
