BOY'S EYE INJURED
ACCIDENT WITH ARROW (By Telegraph—Press Association.) NEW PLYMOUTH, June 14. Struck in the eye \vith an arrow on Saturday, a boy aged six was admitted to the New Plymouth Hospital with a severe injury. An operations was performed immediately, but whether the boy will lose the sight of the eye will not be known for a few days. The boy is George Richmond, son of' Mr. and Mrs. B. Richmond, Wharehuia, near Stratford. The boy and a young brother were playing with a bow and arrows when the other boy accidentally released an arrow, which entered George's eye. He was rushed to New Plymouth for specialist treatment.
