Reports from Bangkok state that important Japanese interests are bidding for control of the Bangkok Dock Company, of which the biggest shareholders are United Engineers, Singapore. Japanese control Malayan iron mining, and since 1921 9,000,000 tons of iron ore has been exported to Japan.
