SWISS DEFENCES
£15,000,000 VOTE COUNCIL APPROVES (Received June 12, 1 p.m.) BERNE, June 11. The Council of States has approved credits amounting to £15,000,000 to • strengthen the Swiss defences. i Half of the sum will be devoted to ' anti-aircraft defences for the principal cities, and the remainder to fortifications, armaments, and aeroplanes.
