B. AMD F. BIBLE SOCIETY
There was a large attendance at the meeting of combined branches of tha B. and F. Bible Society held at All Sainls' Sunday School room, Kilbirnie, when representatives of the Wellington South districts attended. The Rev. p. J. Da vies presided and emphasised the need for Bible reading in tha homes. "Mrs. A. M. Lewis gave a simu» lating address on ihe Bible Society; movement in places she had visited, mentioning in particular the Island of Bali. Votes of thanks were passed to the speakers, and also to Mrs. N. D, Binnie, who had decorated the'school* roum for the meeting most tastefully. The hostesses, who included Mesdames Davies, Lewis,' Binnie, Finlay-Martin, Marshall, Day, Jennings, Israel, and Alex Smith, were cordiylly thanked for their charming hospitality. Mrs. Porter expressed the thanks of all to the tea committee, which included Mes» dames Finlay-Martin, F. H. Porter, Binnie, Richards, McKay, and Russell.
