MYSTERIOUS VESSEL
BELIEVED TO BE GIRL PAT (Received June 11, 9.15 a.m.) GEORGETOWN (British Guiana), June 10. The master of the American steamer Lorraine Cross reports having sighted a vessel which he believed to be the missing trawler Girl Pat near Cayenne flying a distress signal. The vessel reported that it was out of fuel and food, and when asked if the ship's _ papers were in order it hoisted sail and headed south-west.
