SALVAGE BY RUSSIA
BRITISH SHIPS SUNK IN WAR USE IN MERCHANT SERVICE (Received June 2, 11.50 a.m.) LONDON, June 1. A Soviet salvaging trust is raising British ships sunk in wartime and adding them to the Soviet merchant marine. , The Patagonia, a transport which was torpedoed in the Black Sea. will shortly be raised and recommissioned.
