MANOR PARK DEFEATED In a Mary Alward Cup match played on the Paekakariki links yesterday, Paekakariki defeated Manor Park by eight games to two. Following are the results, the Paekakariki players bemg mentioned first: — Miss Rita Smith lost to Mrs. Butler, 3 and 1; Mrs. Murray beat Miss Fairbrother, 1 up; Miss Gaskell beat Miss Butler, 4 and 3; Miss J. Smith beat Miss Riedle, 6 and 5; Miss Murphy beat Miss Yorston, 6 and 5; Miss Grimstone beat Mrs. Burns, 6 and 4; Miss Robinson beat Miss Hogg, 3 and 1; Mrs. Bowden lost to Mrs. Smith, 4 and 3; Mrs. Marshall beat Mrs. Walker, 2 and 1; Miss Taylor beat Miss King, 5 and 4. Extra games resulted: —Miss Chote lost to Miss Nash, 2 down; Miss Lyndon and Miss Kerr, all square.
