AMALGAMATION
HUTT LOCAL BODIES
CONFERENCE ARRANGED
The conference of Hutt Valley local bodies to discuss amalgamation will be held on Tuesday, June 16. at 7.30 p.m., in the Lower Hutt Council Chambers. The conference, which was attended by the Lower Hutt Borough Council, will be attended by three representatives of each of the following local bodies:— The Lower Hutt, Petone, and Eastbourne Borough Councils, the Hutt County Council, the Hutt River Board, and the Petone and Lower Hutt Gas Lighting Board. The Hutt Valley Electric Power Board will not be represented officially, but members of the board who are representing other local bodies will be present.
