Maurras, the Royalist leader, has been sentenced to eight months' imprisonment and fined 200 francs for inciting the murder of M. Blum in recent articles in the "L'Action Francaise," declaring that if M. Blum's policy led to war Frenchmen should use carving knives to eliminate him and his followers.
