ACCIDENT AT ASHBURTON
(By Telegraph—Press Association.) - ASHBURTON, This Day. As a result of a collision with a car at the corner of "Wills and West. Streets at- noon today a motor-cyclist, Frank. Newman, aged 47, of Wills Street, bushman, was admitted to the public hospital with severe head injuries and a compound fracture of the base of the skull. The machines met at right angles, the motor-cycle striking the left rear wheel of the car, which was driven by Malcolm Dixon, of Carter's Terrace, Tinwald. ■ ■
