The clue is that 13 is the largest prime factor of 104, and then it is easy to see that the other, number is 31. Reading a Map. —Withholding the information, which the lady was willing to give, makes it ambiguous whether the distance was 4 or 11 miles, but'the smaller value is inferred from other details. Word Change. —South, sooth, booth, boots, books, cooks, corks, forks, forth, north. The second word; as a synonym for truth, is admittedly obsolete, but it is used by so many writers that there is no reason for rejecting it.
