Roach< said that the'accused was seen by a constable at 2.40 yesterday afternoon stepdancing on the footpath of a busy city street He followed this up by running backwards and forwards across the street and dodging in amongst the people. "Your job is to maintain' law and order; mme1 is to amuse the crowd," said the accused, when approached by a constable. ■'-~... "This, man is not like some others when he takes drink,", concluded the sub-inspector. ','lt seems, to make him happy, not disorderly in the usual sense." . ■_■■~.:.. ~..-■..
