LEVIN MEMORIAL HOME

DIFFICULTIES RECORDED

Rather a sad record of evems begins the forty-first annual report of the Levin Memorial Home. The ranks of friends and supporters is being thinned by death and departure of old residents, who have'always kept a live interest in the work of the home, and, therefore, the problem of finance is a very pressing one. Stringent economy and watchfulness in expenses have to be exercised in order to maintain the home at a standard of efficiency. "No funds,"^states the report, "have been available for .necessary improvements, one of the most urgent being the glassing in of a balcony to make a 'sick bay' for children who are ill or convalescent. The situation as to repairs must soon be faced 'as a new roof is necessary, and more than, ever Aha home, needs the loyal assistance it has been so generously accorded in the past" .'.": ; . ■ / There ate. now 27 girls in the home, of ages ranging from1 three years to fifteen.
