WEST COAST HOTELS, LTD.
Public subscription is invited to West Coast Hotels, Ltd., a new company formed with the object of establishing a chain of modern licensed hotels, particularly in Greymouth, Westport, and Hokitika.. The capital required is £40,000 in 40,000 ordinary shares of £1 each. It is proposed to erect a new hotel in Greymouth on a central site in the city over which the company has secured an option. Over Keller's old-estab-lished hotel at Hokitika an option has also been obtained, and the Hotel Buller, at Westport, a new structure opened in. March last, is included in the chain. The growth of the West Coast tourist traffic, it is stated in the prospectus, calls for provision of first-class modern, hotels. The provisional directors are Messrs. A. S. Duncan. Christchurch; H. D. Hamilton, Westport- J Newman (Cook Strait Airways, Ltd.', and Newman Bros.), Nelson; H. C Newman (Newman's Motors, Ltd.), Hokrtika; N. A. Vercoe (Gibbs Motors), Nelson; and P. J. McLean, Greymouth.
