SERIES OF BURGLARIES
YOUNG MEN SENTENCED

AUCKLAND, This Day. ' The five young men involved in a series of burglaries, including that at the Kumeu Post Office, which later caught lire, and a burglary it Tattersfield's factory, where an elderly nightwatchman was assaulted, were sentenced by Mr. Justice Fair this morning. Edward Victor Tomlin and Archibald Karley Burroughs were given twelve months' reformative detention, ana Norman Stanley Tonlin, Keith Percival Sly, and Alfred William White two years' probation.
