LONDON TO GLASGOW

RUGBY, May 1.
The London, Midland, and Scottish Railway will inaugurate on Monday the fastest service from London to Glasgow in railway history.
The "Midday Scot" will leave Euston at 2 o'clock and reach Glasgow 7 hours 35 minutes later, completing the 401J- miles at an over-all average speed of 52.9 miles per hour. Other London, Midland, and Scottish services are being accelerated as part of the summer programme starting next week.
