N.Z. FOOTBALL ASSOCIATION

The choosing of a chairman and of sub-committees of -the newly-elected Council of the New Zealand Football Association was postponed at the first meeting of the council on Thursday night because of the unavoidable absence, of some of the members.

Mr. J. A. Milburn, who presided, welcomed a new member, Mr. P. McKenzie. Mr. McKenzie; he said,' had had a long experience of Association football while; a resident of the West Coast, Manawatu, and other parts of New Zealand.

Appreciation of his re-election as president of the association was expressed by Mr. Ernest Davis, Mayor of Auckland, in a letter. He said he would endeavour to do what he could to advance the interests of "the game.
