The weather conditions were. almosi

perfect yesterday, for. the qualifying

round of the Manor Park Club's Easter golf tourney,' and several good cards were returned from among the hundred competitors in the championship. The course generally was in excellent condition, though many competitors could not gauge the strength of the greens.

The following players qualified to play off in the championship:— J. Ogilvie, 77; 75—162; D. Butler, 79, 77—156; A. W. Clouston, 80, 81—161; J. Ronald,. 84, 79—163; G.
