WRESTLING BOUT
IYJEHRINGER V. BLOMFIELD

CHRISTCHURCH,, April 8.
In the first wrestling bout tonight of the Christchurch season, Lofty Blomfleld (New Zealand), lGst 81b, and Pete Mcbringer (U.S.A.), 15st 51b, drew, each gaining one fall. The bout was fast and. interesting and sometimes spectacular. Mehringer gained a fall in the fourth round with a spectacular new hold, a double reverse grapevine, and in the seventh round Blomfield equalised' with a Boston crab applied after the American had thrown him *Ht£tt»c successive hcadlocks.
