INTERESTING EXHIBITS
A most interesting and enjoyable afternoqn party was held on Tuesday in the New Zealand Institute of Teachers' Room, "Evening Post" Build;ings, in aid of the Bebe Witts (Burt) Fund, the committee responsible comprising Mesdames Wyn Beere, Hill, and Miss Maddever.
A very fine display of hand-built pottery, brass, pewter, and marquetry, made by Mrs. Margaret Whitt, was much admired. Mrs. Edwards's "thrown" pottery, which was previously exhibited.at Wembley, was also the centre-of interest. Glove-making was aptly demonstrated by Mrs. Allen Ross and Mrs. Waite. Another interesting demonstration, well explained by Mrs. Boyes, was seagrass stools, rugmaking, and various thrift articles.
A most enjoyable tea was served by Mesdames Hill, Scanncl, ' nnd Kettlewell. Bebe Witts and her mother came in during the aftcrnOori, and many good wishes were expressed lor.. Bebe's,future .success.
