TURKISH DESIRE
PROPOSAL FOR REBUILDING

LONDON, April 6.
Replying in the House of Commons to a question whether the Government had received any communications from Turkey in reference to rebuilding the fortifications at the Dardanelles, the Foreign Secretary, Mr. Eden, said that there was no official communication, but the Turkish Minister of Foreign Affairs had mentioned the desire of his Government to raise the question at a suitable moment.
