ROAD DOGS AND ROAD HOGS.
Under the caption "Road Dogs and Road Hogs," "Homemaker" writes complaining of people who take or send their dog's for a walk in the streets and roads with the idea of preserving their own premises from defilement, while the public footpaths and other people's gateways and fences suffer. "Homemaker" also protests against the nuisance of the open exhaust on motorcycles ridden by youths who seem to love to make as much offensive noise as possible. He states . that ' Karori and Northland, particularly in the neighbourhood of the tunnels,: are specially subject to these nerve-rack-ing nuisances. He trusts that the City Council will take suitable steps.
