Miss Archibald presided at a meeting of the Levin Memorial Home Committee on Tuesday. The matron reported that there were 27 children now in the home and all were in good health. The committee passed a special vote of thanks to the Wellington Automobile Club, who gave the children a motor drive to Wadestown Park with sweets, fruit, and afternoon tea. Other donors of gifts thankedwere Mr. Yates, New Zealand Fisheries, Mr. Elliott, and Mr. Cooper. Round Table Club Xuncheon. The Y.W.C.A. Business'and Professional Women's Round Table Club will hold its first luncheon for 1936 next week. Every member is asked to make an effort to be present, as it will be an important occasion, the ' idea being to give members an tpporturiity of expressing their ideas as to the form the club's programme should take this year. A suggestions box will be provided. Already some attractive sug- ,. gestions htivk been put: forward, including the study' of civic and' foreign affairs and play-reading. Pleasant Hospitality. Very pleasant arrangements are being made for the reception and entertainment of the delegates to the Do- : minion Conference of Justices which will be held in Wellington next week. A committee of the women Justices, who attended the annual meeting <of I the association recently, undertook to '. look after any lady relatives' of the visiting delegates and! to -make their . visit as pleasant as possible.
