POLICE SEARCH ENDS
MAORI GIVES HIMSELF UP

WAIPUKURAU, March 10.
The search by mounted police for a; young Maori, Martin Peraniko, otherwise known as Bobby Martin, who was alleged to have escaped from custody after being discovered in the act of burgling a house in the Tikokino district, ended: this morning when Peraniko gave himself up at Mr. Arthur Hodd's farm.
